2 of my kids have celiac disease & I called in advance to ask if they have gluten free pizza. I was told oh yes absolutely. So I said great well figure out what we want & call back. The second time I called I specifically asked how large is your GLUTEN FREE CRUST & she said 10 or 12 inch. So we ordered the kids a medium gluten free Hawaiian which she repeated back to me. When we got to the restaurant they brought out the pizzas & when they put the medium Hawaiian on the table I asked is this the gluten free & she said yes. After we finished eating the manager came over to show me how to order online since apparently they want people to order only online & not over the phone... I asked him if the gluten free option was on there or if I would have to call & ask specifically. He stated they dont offer gluten free pizza. I said yes you do, 2 different people told me over the phone that you do & the waitress said it was gluten free when she brought it. He was very rude & adamant that I was wrong & that his staff wouldnt say that. When I said but they did tell me that three different times he kept cutting me off & saying no they didnt. No apology. Sir, my children have CELIAC disease do you really think I would just give them pizza that I had not made sure was gluten free?! The waitress was apologetic but the manager was not at all. Now my kids are going to be sick for days possibly weeks. So a warning to those who need gluten free do not eat here. I realize that the damage was already done once the manager came to talk to us but he did not need to keep arguing with me & telling me that I was not told they have gluten free when I WAS several times. He should have just apologized for the mistake & asked what he could do to make it right Clearly he needs to train his staff better because this mistake went past 3 people. The only reason I am giving any stars in my review is because the pizza was very good to the rest of us non-celiacs that ate there, the atmosphere was nice & the waitress was pleasant & very ontop of refilling our water.
Great Pizza! Lots of ingredients, wonderful taste, great price, friendly staff, lots of parking.If you are confused as to where to go to pick up your fantastic pizza for the first time, that is ok, we were lost too. But never fear, google maps says it is IN the Restaurant Black Bull Steakhouse and they are correct!
The pizza was amazing. I think it is very forward thinking to run an online pizza place with delivery in Three Hills. I'm surprised more people are not aware of it. Way to go Pizza Italia!
